Group exercise built for assisted living homes
Falls, disengagement, and staffing gaps are daily realities for assisted living administrators. Corrective Exercise brings a structured, professionally led group exercise program directly into your facility, designed specifically around residents with advanced conditions like Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Stroke, ALS, MS, and Lewy Body. Unlike general senior fitness classes, every session is built around functional movement that supports real, daily independence.
Why assisted living homes choose Corrective Exercise
Since 2013, we have worked exclusively with the senior population, including residents that general fitness instructors and activity staff are often not equipped to support. Our team understands the balance between engagement, safety, and the operational and liability realities administrators manage every day.
Reduced fall risk through functional, balance-based movement
Increased resident engagement and participation in daily programming
Documented progress reporting for families and facility staff
Programs built specifically around residents with advanced, progressive conditions
Professionally led sessions that integrate with your existing activities calendar
Administrators consistently tell us that the difference between our program and a generic senior fitness class is that ours is designed for residents who can no longer participate safely in standard group fitness, not just residents who are already mobile and healthy.
Senior quality of life & caregiver well being, because you provide exceptional care.

How the program works
Each engagement starts with an on-site assessment of your residents and your facility's schedule. From there, we design a recurring group exercise program led by our exercise professionals, with built-in modifications for residents at different mobility levels, including those in wheelchairs or living with significant cognitive decline from Alzheimer's or other dementias.
Sessions are scheduled around your facility's existing routine, and our team works directly with activity directors and care staff to make sure the program fits smoothly into daily operations.

Common questions from administrators
-
No. Our group exercise program is a complementary, ongoing offering that supports residents between and alongside any clinical physical therapy they receive, not a substitute for it.
-
Our exercise professionals lead every session from start to finish, and we coordinate with your facility's existing protocols and staff during onboarding.
-
Frequency depends on your facility's schedule and resident needs, and is set collaboratively during the consultation.
-
Group sizes vary based on your residents' needs and your space, and we'll recommend an appropriate structure during the assessment.
